When I had my first meeting with this client, she said two things that stood out to me, ‘no white walls’ and ‘the company is a Sagittarius’. From that moment I knew my design couldn’t be like any other office. I put together a space plan, mood and aesthetics document and a furniture proposal for the client’s review. Everything was approved within 24 hours. I then began by organising the relvant subcontractors and ensuring our accounts team had all the correct furniture and contractor quotes to place orders.
The client loved their London office so much, they reached out to me personally to also design their office in LA. After sending over a space plan and mood and aesthetics i had two amazing emails in response, the first being ‘I think you’re really good at what you do’ and the second being ‘YOU COMPLETE ME!’. The client paid for my design and furniture proposal.
